Our curriculum covers hands-on skills, theoretical knowledge, and industry trends, ensuring you're well-prepared for success in the dynamic field of barbering, all within our modern facilities where you'll practice with real clients under expert guidance. Barber School

Students are required to complete 1000 hours of training as designated by the Connecticut state law. Our

course is a complete basic barbering program which include haircutting and styling for men as well as state

health laws and regulations. This program prepares for the Ct. State exam. You will learn barbering skills and

state guidelines, expectations, and practical procedures to successfully pass the state board examination to

become a professional licensed barber.

Theory Portion

Theory is 100% online. You MUST have access to a computer and the internet. Assignments are released on

Mondays at 8:00am and are due the following Sunday by 11:59pm. You may work at your own pace;

however, assignments must be submitted by due date.

Hands-on Portion (Haircutting)

Practical portion is held at 1258 Gold Star HWY Groton, CT. 06320 on Thursdays & Fridays from 9:00am to 3:00 pm and are in-person only. Students are required to have their complete student kits with them during each in-person class.
