Program Description & Structure
Bravado Academy’s 1000- Hour Barber Program is a hybrid training pathway aligned with Connecticut licensing requirements.
Theory Instruction (Online)
- 100% online, self-paced coursework
- Weekly modules released Mondays
- Assignments must be submitted by the posted due date
- Computer + reliable internet required
Clinical Hands-On Training (In Person)
- Location: 1287 Gold Star Highway, Groton, CT
- Schedule: Wednesdays & Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Live client practice under supervision
Tuition and Fees
- Registration Fee: $100.00 (non-refundable)
- Books: $425.00 (non-refundable)
- Equipment/Supplies: $500.00 (non-refundable)
- Lab Fees: $330.00
- Student Mobile App: $56.00
- Tuition: $7,440.00
- Total Cost: $8,851.00
Financial Aid, Payment Plans & Grants
Bravado Academy does not offer federal financial aid (FAFSA).
Down Payment: $1,025.00
Amount Financed: $7,826.00
Payment Plan:
After the required down payment is received, the remaining balance of $7,826.00 may be paid in 7 monthly payments of $1,118.00.
WIOA Funding
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding may be available to eligible students.
Eligibility and approval are determined by your local American Job Center, not Bravado Academy.
Bravado Academy does not qualify, approve, or manage WIOA funding; this process is handled entirely by a separate workforce agency.
